Riot Games has announced a multi-year partnership with Sony’s gaming brand INZONE, which will see the latter join as the Official Headset Partner of the Valorant Champions Tour.

The partnership, which will kick-off with the Valorant Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters – Copenhagen, will see INZONE provide headsets for all Valorant Champions Tour championships. INZONE  will also work with Riot Games to create a new broadcast segment known as Open Mic, which will be highlighting the importance of player communications during the matches.

Whalen Rosell, Riot Games CEO, stated:

We’re thrilled that Sony audio technology is enhancing the audio experience at our global VALORANT events. Communication is a critical aspect of VALORANT, and this partnership will allow us to immerse our viewership deeper into the most exciting moments of our biggest matches. Sony’s commitment to innovation will further elevate VALORANT as the world’s leading esports player.

The Valorant Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters – Copenhagen will take place between July 10 to July 24, 2022. The opening week of the tournament will be held in a studio format, while the final three days will take place at the Forum.

INZONE becomes Riot Games’ fourth partner for the VCT 2022 season and the partnership comes on the back of INZONE also partnering with PGL recently.
