New Orleans Pelicans Sponsors 2023/24

Following are the companies and organisations that serve as sponsors and brand partners to the NBA team, the New Orleans Pelicans, and enjoy a strong branding presence across their physical and digital assets.

Fan Duel

American gambling company Fan Duel is an official partner of the New Orleans Pelicans and prominently features across the basketball team’s official social media handles and other digital assets.

Gatorade 

The New Orleans Pelicans and Zion Williamson have agreed to partner with Gatorade in a new collaboration for the brand. As part of this agreement, Williamson and Gatorade will come together and create the custom Gatorade Smart Gx Bottle for the 2023/24 NBA season.

Through the partnership, the energy drink manufacturing company also features prominently across the team’s social media platforms.

Hancock Whitney

The New Orleans Pelicans and banking institution Hancock Whitney have enjoyed a longstanding relationship with one another, which began back in 2010 when the latter signed on as the Official Bank of the Pelicans. Most recently, this agreement was renewed in 2018, making Hancock Whitney the exclusive provider of the New Orleans Saints branded debit card.

As per this deal, the Hancock Whitney debit cards will feature the Pelicans’ logo, while the banking firm also enjoys visibility through the social media channels of the basketball team.

AmeriHealth

AmeriHealth Caritas Louisiana and the New Orleans Pelicans decided to partner with one another in December 2021 to raise awareness on health issues and educate the general public about the effect that these problems have on our society.

As part of the deal, both parties come together for various initiatives which include health education, physical activity and screening events which aim at sending the important message of equality in access to health care.

HUB International

Insurance brokerage provider HUB International is an official partner of the New Orleans Pelicans and, as part of this agreement, presents practice reports during the course of an NBA season.

Further, the brand also gains viability by appearing across the basketball team’s digital assets.

Michelob Ultra 

Anheuser-Busch InBev, a multinational drink and brewing company based in Leuven, Belgium, is the New Orleans Pelicans’ official sponsor. Through this partnership, the brewing company’s light beer enjoys visibility across the social media platforms of the basketball team.

SeatGeek 

High-growth technology platform SeatGeek and the New Orleans Pelicans extended their partnership in January 2023, a deal that initially began when the parties came together for a new ticketing technology in 2017.

The aim of the partnership is to better fan experience during game days and provide in-game offers and exclusive experiences. The brand gains visibility by prominently featuring across multiple social media channels and digital assets of the basketball team.

Ibotta

North American mobile technology company Ibotta is currently the jersey patch sponsor of the New Orleans Pelicans. The parties decided to commence their agreement from the 2020/21 NBA season and later renewed their partnership in September 2022. As part of this latest renewal which was signed for a period of three years, the company’s logo will feature on all Pelicans’ game jerseys during NBA matches.

The parties also work on various community-related activities like the New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) and HANO housing, which are aimed at providing over 100 families in the area with Thanksgiving dinner along with other merchandise of the basketball team.

Morris Bart 

The New Orleans Pelicans and Morris Bart decided to partner for a fifth straight year ahead of the 2023/24 NBA season and bring the Bart’s Flight School, which encourages students to strive to receive B’s or Better and get awarded a special basketball clinic.

Corona

Beer manufacturer Corona is an official partner of the New Orleans Pelicans and appears across the team’s social media channels and other digital assets via this partnership.

Bally Sports

The New Orleans Pelicans use Bally Sports as its official television provider for NBA matches in the 2023/24 season.

KIA

South Korean automotive manufacturing company KIA Motors is an official partner of the New Orleans Pelicans. Along with being an official partner of the NBA, KIA has also partnered with a host of NBA teams, including the Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks, Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, and more.

As part of this deal, the brand’s logo features across the basketball team’s social media channels and other digital assets.

Cardless

The New Orleans Pelicans teamed up with financial technology firm Cardless in February 2022 to launch the Pelicans’ first-ever branded credit card. This credit card has no annual and late fees, as well as no foreign transaction fee. The two parties also offer Pelicans fans various incentives, including 4 times the points on purchasing Pelicans’ tickets using the card.

Socios

A  blockchain-based fan engagement platform, Socios and the New Orleans Pelicans signed a partnership agreement in January 2022. As per this agreement, Socios would receive exposure through in-arena Signage and other digital platforms like the team’s mobile application.

Socios also serves as the Presenting Partner of various fan engagement initiatives, including in-game highlight polls, which appear on social media channels of the Pelicans.

Smoothie King

The New Orleans Pelicans and Smoothie Kings have enjoyed a longstanding relationship which has seen the latter company earn the naming rights of the Pelicans’ home stadium in February 2014 and has served in this capacity ever since. The partnership also sees the brand heavily featured across the basketball team’s social media handles and digital assets.
