Mumbai Indians (MI) Sponsors 2024

This article contains information regarding the organisations enjoying a strong branding presence across the assets of the men’s and/or women‘s teams of the Mumbai Indians (MI) as their sponsors and partners for the 2024 seasons of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) and Indian Premier League (IPL).

PRINCIPAL PARTNERS

Slice

The Bangalore-based Indian fintech company and “credit card challenger” was announced as a Principal Partner of the MI in January 2020 on a three-year deal reportedly worth ?100 crore, replacing South Korean tech giant Samsung.

As per the deal, Slice serves as the principal MI jersey sponsor, with its logo featuring on the front of their men’s team’s matchday shirts.

DHL Express

The German logistics company was roped in by the MI as a Principal Partner and the Official Logistics Partner of their men’s team ahead of IPL 2021. DHL replaced Colors, Viacom18 network’s premium Hindi-language channel, as the main back-of-shirt sponsor on the MI men’s team matchday shirt.

ASSOCIATE PARTNERS

Reliance Jio

The Mumbai-based Indian telecom giant has maintained a sponsorship deal with the Mumbai Indians since the 2018 IPL season.

For the Mumbai Indians, Jio’s logo can be seen on the sleeves of their teams’ matchday shirts.

Jio is owned by Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries, which owns the Mumbai-based franchise.

Astral Pipes

The Ahmedabad-headquartered plumbing and drainage systems manufacturer was announced as an Associate Partner of the MI in August 2020.

IDFC FIRST Bank

The Mumbai Indians signed a sponsorship agreement with this Indian private sector bank ahead of the 2022 IPL season for a three-year period.

As per the terms of the agreement, IDFC FIRST Bank acts as an Associate Partner of the MI, while its logo appears on the upper chest region of the MI men’s team’s matchday kits.

OFFICIAL PARTNERS

USHA

The Gurgaon-headquartered household durables firm has been an Official Partner of the MI since May 2014.

Ahead of the 2024 WPL and IPL seasons, the Mumbai Indians announced an extension of their partnership with USHA.

Garnier Men

The Mumbai Indians signed a partnership agreement with French beauty brand Garnier Men ahead of the 2023 IPL season, on-boarding it as their men’s team’s official grooming partner.

Dream11

Apart from being an Official Partner of the Women’s Premier League itself, the Mumbai-headquartered Indian fantasy sports platform also serves as the designated fantasy sports partner to the Mumbai Indians’ men’s team.

BKT

Ahead of the 2021 Indian Premier League season, Mumbai-based tire manufacturer BKT (Balkrishna Industries Limited) signed a sponsorship deal with the Mumbai Indians in March 2021 to become their Official Tire Partner.

Castrol

The Mumbai Indians on–boarded British oil company Castrol as their men’s team’s official performance partner ahead of the 2024 IPL season.

As per the deal, the Castrol logo appears on the team’s matchday trousers (on the left side) and training apparel.

Goldi Solar

Indian solar panel manufacturer Goldi Solar was announced as the official solar energy partner of the MI men’s team in March 2024. 

As per the deal, the company’s logo features on the team’s matchday trousers (on the top right) and training kits.

Kingfisher

An Indian beer brewed by United Breweries Group, Kingfisher was signed by the Mumbai Indians in March 2024 to serve as an official partner to their men’s team for the 2024 IPL season.

Dairy Milk

Cadbury’s chocolate confectionery brand Dairy Milk was announced as an official partner of the MI men’s team ahead of the 2024 IPL season.

TeamViewer

German tech company TeamViewer was announced as an official partner of the MI men’s team ahead of the 2023 IPL season.

Kaspersky

Russian multinational cybersecurity company Kaspersky was on-boarded by the Mumbai Indians in March 2024 as an official partner of their men’s team.

nic

The Mumbai Indians on-boarded ice cream brand nic ahead of the 2024 IPL season.

As per the deal, nic serves as an official partner to the MI men’s team.

S3G Group

Haryana-based real estate company S3G Group was announced as an official partner of the MI men’s team in March 2024.

Pokémon

The Mumbai Indians announced their association with Japanese multimedia franchise Pokémon in March 2024, roping it in as an official partner of their men’s team for IPL 2024.

BGMI

Battle royale video game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) was announced as an official partner of the MI men’s team in March 2024.

GK TMT

Real Group-owned steel products manufacturer GK TMT was announced as an official partner of the MI men’s team in March 2024.

Reliance Digital

Reliance Digital, an Indian electronics retailer owned by the Reliance Group, is listed as an official partner of the Mumbai Indians on their official website for the 2024 IPL season.

Alan’s Bugles

Snack brand Alan’s Bugles was announced as an official partner of the MI men’s team in March 2024.

Max Life Insurance

Max Life Insurance joined the Mumbai Indians family ahead of the 2023 WPL and IPL seasons.

As per the deal, the company served as the official life insurance partner to the MI women’s team during the inaugural Women’s Premier League season.

Currently, Max Life is listed as an official partner of the MI men’s team for the 2024 IPL campaign on the franchise’s official website.

Bira91

Beverage brand Bira 91 signed a multi-year partnership agreement with the Mumbai Indians ahead of IPL 2023, coming on board as an Official Partner.

Bisleri

Bisleri International Private Limited, a packaged drinking water company, announced its tie-up with the Mumbai Indians in January 2023, joining their sponsorship portfolio as their “Official Hydration Partner” on a three-year deal.

JioCinema

The Mumbai Indians announced a partnership deal with Viacom18’s OTT streaming service, JioCinema, ahead of IPL 2023.

As per the deal, JioCinema serves as an Official Partner to the MI men’s team.

Men’s Team Radio Partners

The Mumbai Indians men’s team currently have on board three radio partners: Radio City, Fever, and 94.3 Radio One International.

MERCHANDISE PARTNERS

Celio

Celio is a French men’s clothing retailer that was roped in by the MI as a merchandise partner ahead of the 2023 IPL season. The MI then re-launched their merchandise shop, “MI Shop”, ahead of the 2023 WPL and IPL seasons.

Celio, along with other international and local brands, provide premium-quality MI apparel and merchandise in accordance with this agreement. 

Chupps

The Mumbai Indians roped in Chupps as their footwear partner ahead of the 2023 IPL season.

Chupps is an Indian footwear start-up co-founded by Gaurav Agarwal and Yashesh Mukhi. 

Cybeart

The MI signed Cybeart as one of their merchandise partners ahead of the 2023 IPL season.

Cybeart is a gaming merch company established with a vision to provide both gamers and non-gamers with comfortable and premium high-quality products. 

EUME

EUME was roped in as a merchandise partner by the Mumbai Indians ahead of the 2023 IPL season.

EUME focuses on designing multi-purpose everyday accessories and produced MI-themed backpacks and umbrellas in accordance with this agreement. 

FanCode

FanCode, an Indian multi-sport aggregator platform by Dream Sports, was announced as a merchandise partner by the Mumbai Indians in 2020.

Plaeto

Plaeto, India’s first D2C foot health-focused footwear brand for children, was announced as a merchandise partner of the Mumbai Indians ahead of the 2023 IPL season. 

PlayR

The Mumbai Indians announced PlayR as their men’s team’s Official Replica Partner ahead of the 2023 IPL season. PlayR was also their official fan gear partner for the 2022 IPL season.

PlayR provides apparel for the global market as well as equipment and fitness for both the domestic and international markets. 

Shop The Arena

The MI roped in Shop The Arena as a merchandise partner ahead of the 2023 IPL season.

Shop The Arena is an apparel merchandise brand that aims to bring quality, authentic sports merchandise to sports fans in India.

Women’s team partners

Ashok Leyland

In March 2023, Ashok Leyland, a Hinduja Group company, became a Principal Partner of the MI women’s team on a two-year deal set to run until the end of the 2024 WPL season.

As per the deal, the Ashok Leyland logo features on the back of the team’s playing kits — above the jersey number.

Lotus Herbals

Skincare and beauty products brand Lotus Herbals signed on as a Principal Partner of the MI women’s team ahead of WPL 2023. This partnership was extended for the 2024 season, too, following an announcement made by the franchise via social media.

As per the deal, the Lotus Herbals logo appears front and centre of the team’s playing and training shirts. 

Confluent

In February 2024, the Mumbai Indians announced a partnership agreement with Confluent, a Mountain View, California-based tech company specialising in data streaming platforms, on-boarding it as their women’s team’s Technology Partner for the 2024 WPL season.

As per the deal, the Confluent logo features on the top of the left sleeve of the team’s matchday shirt.

Skechers

It was announced in February 2024 that global sports apparel manufacturer Skechers would serve as the official kit partner of both the men’s and women’s MI teams for the 2024 WPL and IPL seasons.

LoveChild by Masaba

The Mumbai Indians signed a sponsorship agreement with beauty brand LoveChild by Masaba in February 2024, with the company set to serve as an official partner to the MI women’s team for the 2024 WPL season.

USHA

Consumer durables brand USHA was announced as an official partner of the MI women’s team ahead of WPL 2024.

As per the deal, USHA works with the team on campaigns to promote women’s cricket both domestically and internationally.

DHL Express

The German logistics company was roped in as an official partner of the Mumbai Indians women’s team ahead of the 2023 WPL campaign.

Women’s team Radio Partners
