Switzerland’s national marketing and sales organisation Switzerland Tourism has inked a new deal with Laver Cup for its 2022 edition. The partnership will see Switzerland serve as the Official Travel Destination for the Laver Cup, which is going to be held at The O2 in London from September 23 to 25, 2022.
The partnership will see both parties work together to showcase The Grand Tour of Switzerland, which is a 1643km circuit that highlights the country’s major landmark locations such as its glaciers, lake shores, mediaeval villages and much more.
Switzerland Tourism will also be hosting two competitions in the build-up to the Laver Cup. These competitions will give the fans a chance to attend the finals of the tournament and also meet Roger Federer. They will also get a chance to travel to Switzerland for a four-night trip.
Martin Nydegger, Switzerland Tourism CEO, commented:
“As the Official Travel Destination for Laver Cup 2022, we are delighted that our ambassador Roger Federer will be back on court in London in September.
“Laver Cup provides us with a unique opportunity to spotlight The Grand Tour of Switzerland, and the vibrant, majestic, and picturesque treasures our amazing country has to offer.“
Steve Zacks, CEO, Laver Cup, added:
“Switzerland Tourism shares Laver Cup’s commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences. We look forward to working with them to showcase the spectacular sites and attractions that comprise The Grand Tour of Switzerland.“
