Kal Hourd, chief executive of Guild Esports, commented:

Guild is signing up some of the world’s most respected brands and we are very proud to welcome Coca-Cola as a sponsor and partner. The partnership will see Coca-Cola provide Guild Esports with unique and unmissable experiences.

They want to collaborate with Guild because we deliver great entertainment and memorable experiences for a millennial, hard-to-reach audience in one of the fastest growing segments of the sports entertainment industry.

Guild Esports has also stated that following the agreement with Coca-Cola, the brand has seen its share prices rise by more than 40 per cent.

Co-founded by former England men’s national football captain David Beckham in June 2020, Guild Esports currently has competitive teams in FIFA, Rocket League, Fortnite and Apex Legends.
