Formula One has renewed its broadcast partnership with FOX Sports Mexico. The agreement, which has been extended until the end of 2025, will see FOX Sports Mexico continue to broadcast all Free Practice, Qualifying sessions, F1 Sprint events and Grands Prix in Mexico.
Flemish broadcaster Play Sports has also renewed its partnership with Formula One for the 2023 and 2024 seasons. The deal will see Play Sports broadcast all Qualifying sessions, F1 Sprint events and Grands Prix live until the end of 2024 season. Play Sports first partnered with F1 in 2014.
Ian Holmes, Director of Media Rights and Content Creation, Formula One, commented:
“Formula 1 has always sought partnerships with media groups who excel in producing high quality, accessible content for our fans to better connect with F1. It’s a great time to be a Formula 1 fan, and the future looks bright. These partnership agreements are a statement of our intent to grow and develop our global fanbase by delivering best in country broadcasting and bringing Formula 1 to new audiences. The 2023 season will see plenty more drama and excitement, so I’m pleased that fans in Mexico and Belgium will be able to experience everything the sport has to offer.“
