Aston Martin have announced that their Reserve Driver Felipe Drugovich will replace Lance Stroll during the pre-season test in Bahrain, after it was announced that the Canadian would miss the test following an accident.

Stroll was involved in a minor accident that left him with injuries. The team had announced that he would not be able to take part in the three-day pre-season test in Bahrain, which is scheduled for February 23 to 25, 2023.

Drugovich will step-in for Stroll and will share track time with Aston Martin’s new signing, two-time World Champion Fernando Alonso. The Brazilian will drive the AMR23 on Thursday morning, while Alonso will be on the track in the afternoon.

The British team have also announced that they will release the remainder of the schedule in due course.
