F1 TV Pro launched in India

Formula One has announced the launch of F1 TV Pro in India, weeks ahead of the 2023 Formula One World Championship.

F1 TV Pro will be broadcasting all the action during the race weekends, including Practice and Qualifying Sessions, F1 Sprints and Grands Prix in India.

F1 TV Pro has been priced at ?399 per month or ?2,999 annually. Formula One has also announced that fans who sign up early for the service will get a free seven-day trial for a limited time. 

Formula One has previously had partnerships with Disney and Star Sports, which has seen F1 races broadcast on the Disney+ Hotstar OTT platform and Star Sports television channels. This deal was not renewed ahead of the 2023 season. 

Ian Holmes, Director of Media Rights and Content Creation at Formula One, commented:

We are delighted to launch F1 TV Pro for our fans in India. With Formula 1’s growing global footprint, it is vital that our fans all around the world can watch and enjoy the drama and excitement of Formula 1. With access to live race footage, expert commentary, onboard camera and team radios, F1 TV Pro will provide fans with a best-in-class service to follow the upcoming Formula 1 season.

The Formula One season is all set to get underway from March 5, 2023, with the Bahrain Grand Prix serving as the season-opener. The 2023 season will have a record 23 races in the calendar, with three races in the US, including the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix.
