Esports tournament organiser ESL Gaming has announced that its mobile esports tournament, Snapdragon Pro Series, will be heading to India.

The Snapdragon Pro Series India is set to feature three titles (Brawl Stars, Clash of Clans and Battlegrounds Mobile India) during the event, which is scheduled to be held in the summer of 2022.

While Clash of Clans will have a US$50,000 prize pool and will be held in early June to early July 2022, the prize pool for Battlegrounds Mobile and Brawl Stars is yet to be announced. It is reported that Battlegrounds Mobile India will most likely be held in July, while Brawl Stars will be held in October.

The Snapdragon Pro Series, the mobile esports tournament series which is developed by ESL Gaming and chip manufacturer Qualcomm, was announced in March. ESL’s General Manager of Mobile, Kevin Rosenblatt, had said that there would be a tournament series in India. The Snapdragon Pro Series, meanwhile, will have three tiers which will have a host of mobile games based on region and tier.

Some of the titles which will be included in the server will be Wild Rift, Clash of Clans, Free Fire and PUBG Mobile. For the Indian region, Battlegrounds Mobile India, a PUBG Mobile spinoff, will be played since India’s government has banned PUBG Mobile along with other Chinese games and software. Battlegrounds Mobile India is developed by South Korean firm KRAFTON.
