French automotive manufacturers Renault first entered Formula One in 1977 as constructors. The French team began supplying engines to other teams as well until they withdrew from the sport in 1985. They returned as engine manufacturers in 1989 and between 1992 and 1997 they enjoyed one of the most successful periods in the sport with five Drivers’ titles and six Constructors’ titles. The team ended their works involvement in 1997 but saw their engines used till 2000. In 2000, Renault acquired the Benetton Formula team and rejoined as works engine manufacturers in 2001. The following year saw Benetton rebranded as Renault.
Through Fernando Alonso’s back-to-back Championship wins in 2005 and 2006, Renault enjoyed further success. In 2011, the team sold their shares and remained in the sport as engine manufacturers, even helping Red Bull win quadruple titles during 2010–2013.
Renault Group rebought the Enstone-based team—called Lotus—and rebranded them as Renault. The team were further rebranded to Alpine ahead of the 2021 season, with Renault remaining the engine manufacturers.

TITLE PARTNER
BWT
In February 2022, Alpine announced water treatment systems supplier BWT as their title partner following a multi-year agreement. The partnership sees the team named as BWT Alpine F1 team, with the pink BWT branding visible on the Alpine car and driver race suit.
BWT and Alpine also work together to reduce the overall carbon footprints across their fields. Both also collaborate to promote the message of sustainability and social responsibility.
PREMIUM PARTNERS
Castrol and BP
The then-Renault team in 2017 signed a multi-year partnership with BP and Castrol in 2017, which sees BP and Castrol provide the team with advanced fuels and engine oil, gear and hydraulic oils, greases and brake fluid along with a range of high-performance industrial lubricants for work at Enstone for chassis and Viry for engine.
In July 2019, both parties renewed the partnership for a further five years following a multi-year extension.
MAPFRE
In 2017, Spanish insurance firm MAPFRE joined the French team as one of their main sponsors on a five-year deal. The partnership sees both parties explore various mobility solutions and services linked to the role of insurance in the automotive industry. The MAPFRE branding features on the Alpine car and race suits and helmets of the drivers.
One year into their partnership, both parties renewed it in February 2018.
Renault E-tech
Launched in 2013, Renault E-tech is the range of hybrid engines the Alpine F1 team use in their race cars. The 2022 season sees Alpine use the Renault E-Tech 20B engine.
RCi – Mobilize Financial Services
The French automotive financing expert has been an Official Partner of the team since October 2017. The Paris-based firm is a subsidiary of the Renault Group, and the partnership sees the RCi logo feature on the Alpine race cars and various other team assets.

Microsoft
American tech giant Microsoft has been a partner of the French team since their Lotus days. Microsoft provides the team with valuable data to help with car designs and data-driven solutions. The Microsoft branding is also visible on the Alpine race cars and other team assets.
Mandiant
In July 2021, Alpine announced a new partnership with FireEye Mandiant, one of the leading cybersecurity providers in the world. The partnership sees Alpine pick on Mandiant’s understanding of planning and risk management, connectivity between international locations, digital communication and advanced data capture across multiple platforms including telemetry, driver simulators and the cars on track.
Binance
In February 2022, Alpine announced cryptocurrency exchange firm Binance as their Official Fan Token Partner. The partnership saw Alpine join the Binance platform and release NFTs for the fans. As per the deal, Binance’s branding is also visible on the Alpine race car.
DuPont
American chemicals firm DuPont signed a multi-year partnership with the French team in March 2019. The partnership sees both parties collaborate to optimise Formula One performance and advanced technology development for Renault’s road car applications as well. DuPont’s Kevlar fibre is used in the tyres and bodywork of the Alpine cars.
Plug Power
Leading turnkey hydrogen solutions provider Plug Power announced a multi-year partnership with Alpine in March 2021. The partnership has seen Alpine and Plug Powder explore opportunities for hydrogen solutions in on-road vehicles as part of their commitment to sustainable mobility. The Plug Powder logo is also visible on the Alpine race cars and team racewear.
Delphi Technologies
Delphi Technologies joined as an Official Partner of the Alpine team in June 2021 through Renault Group’s partnership with BorgWarner, which had acquired Delphi Technologies. The partnership has the Delphi Technologies logo featured on the Alpine team garage, commercial assets and on the Alpine race car at select Grands Prix.
Data.ai
Alpine announced tech company Data.ai as their Official Digital Data and Official Partner following a multi-year partnership that was signed in February 2022. As per the deal, Alpine uses Data.ai tech to enhance their digital profile, with the Data.ai branding visible on the Alpine race cars, driver race suits and various team assets.
Bell & Ross
French luxury watch company Bell & Ross serves as the Official Timekeeper of the team since their partnership began in February 2016. The company even releases Renault-themed watches, with the French team sporting the Bell & Ross logo on various team assets.
Kappa
In January 2022, Italian sportswear brand Kappa inked a multi-year partnership with Alpine, which saw the Alpine race drivers and team equipped with Kappa apparel. Additionally, Kappa also equips Alpine’s esports team and driver academy with its collections.
Sprinklr
Unified customer experience management platform Sprinklr was announced as Alpine’s Official Partner and Unified-CXM Platform Provider in March 2022. The agreement sees Alpine implement Sprinklr’s products to enhance their brand and innovation ambitions through deep and real-time connections with the fans.
Boeing
Aerospace firm Boeing has been an Official Partner of the French team since 2004. Boeing continues to remain as a partner, and its branding is visible on various Alpine team assets.
Genii Capital
Genii Capital had initially bought a majority stake in the team back in 2012. It has been a sponsor of the team ever since. In February 2022, Renault Group acquired Genii Capital’s remaining shareholding in Alpine Racing. However, even though Renault bought out the remaining shares, Genii still remains a partner of the team, with its branding visible on the Alpine cars.
Eurodatacar
Auto insurance firm Eurodatacar has been a partner of the French team since 2016. Eurodatacar provides Alpine with its technical knowledge. Both parties extended their partnership in December 2021 for a further three years.
PerkinElmer
An expert in diagnostics, life science research, food, environmental and industrial testing, PerkinElmer has been a partner of the Alpine team since the 1990s. PerkinElmer provides the team with the latest thermal analyses, infrared spectroscopy, and imaging technologies, which are used for proactive monitoring, issue prevention, and performance enhancement.
Shamir Optical Industry
Shamir Optical Industry and Alpine joined hands in June 2021, which saw Shamir become the team’s Official Performance Partner.
The partnership is aimed at improving the visual quality and safety of the team members and, in turn, their performances. Shamir and Alpine have also created a first vision performance lab in Formula One which provides high-performance ophthalmic assessment for Alpine F1 Team and Alpine Academy drivers as well as the pit crew, pit wall and personnel at Alpine F1 Team’s bases in Enstone and Viry-Châtillon.
Siemens
German automation firm Siemens has been an Official Partner of the Renault team for more than a decade. The agreement sees Siemens help Alpne design and manufacture composite materials.
Yahoo!
In September 2019, Renault signed a multi-year agreement with Verizon Media, which saw its premium brand Yahoo! join as the team’s Official Partner. The partnership gives the French team a platform to gain increased visibility, mainly to various media groups and Verizon’s vast portfolio of brands.
In July 2022, Alpine and Yahoo extended their partnership for a further three years, with Yahoo continuing on as a Technical Partner. The partnership sees the Yahoo logo present on team assets and the chassis of the Alpine race car and also lets Alpine use Yahoo’s platforms to develop their own vision for the future, which includes news, sports, entertainment, lifestyle, finance, media and communications tools.
3D Systems
The American manufacturer of 3D printers has been an Official Partner of the Renault team since 1998. 3D Systems provides the team with 3D printing systems and other solutions.
Canel’s
Mexican confectionery firm Canel’s signed a new multi-year partnership with Alpine in March 2023. The partnership builds on the two’s long-standing relationship that started in 2015 and sees Canel’s continue on as the Official Confectionery Partner of the team. The agreement has the Canel’s logo present on the front floor of the Alpine race car.

Amazon Prime Music
Music streaming service Amazon Prime Music was revealed as the team’s Official Music Streaming Sponsor in July 2023, ahead of the 2023 British Grand Prix.
The partnership puts the Amazon Music branding on the race car as well as the helmets of the Alpine drivers.
Qatar Airways
In September 2023, Qatar Airways was announced as Alpine’s Official Airline Partner with a special focus of the partnership on the Qatar Grand Prix.
The partnership also sees Alpine sport specially-branded helmets and caps by their drivers for the Qatar Grand Prix.
Xbox
Alpine roped in Xbox as an Official Partner as well as their Official Console Partner and PC Game Pass in September 2023 on a multi-year deal.
The deal puts the Xbox and Xbox PC Game Pass branding on the Alpine race cars and various team assets during select races, starting with the 2023 Japanese Grand Prix.

Alpinestars
Italian clothing company Alpinestars is one of Alpine’s Official Suppliers. The Asolo-based firm provides the team with protective clothing for their driver and pit crew members.
Alpine Eyewear
In December 2019, Alpine launched their own eyewear brand, Alpine Eyewear, which has been an Official Partner of the French racing team ever since.
Elysium
Multi-CAD enabling software provider Elysium has been an Official Supplier of the French team since 2003. Alpine uses Elysium’s software for 3D data translation and supply chain streaming.
GCAPS
The Global Centre for Automotive Performance Simulation (GCAPS) has been a long-time partner of the Alpine team and provides accurate and affordable models to support virtual development.
Hexis
French adhesive vinyl films manufacturer Hexis signed a multi-year partnership with Renault in 2018 to become an Official Partner of the team. Both parties renewed their partnership in March 2021.
KX
A global leader of real-time streaming analytics, KX signed a multi-year partnership with Alpine in October 2021. The partnership sees Alpine scale up their real-time decision making capabilities and introduce an operating model of continuous actionable business intelligence for enhanced performance on and off the track with the help of KX technology.
K-Way
K-Way joined the Alpine family in January 2022 as their Official Lifestyle Partner. K-Way provides the team with its travel wear and also serves as the clothing supplier for the entire team.
Linde Material Handling
German lift and warehouse trucks manufacturer Linde has been an Official Supplier of the Alpine team since 2013. The French team use Linde’s forklifts and trucks for their logistical support during the season.
Matrix Fitness (Johnson Health Tech)
Johnson Health Tech’s brand Matrix Fitness signed a multi-year deal with Renault in 2006. Matrix provides the team with the Human Performance Centre (HPC) — a purpose-built training and sports science facility wherein Matrix has supplied fitness equipment including cardiovascular equipment from its leading 7xi Series and products from Matrix’s Magnum and Ultra Strength ranges.
Pirelli
Through its partnership with Formula One, Italian tyre manufacturer Pirelli serves as Alpine’s Official Tyre Supplier.
Roland
Japanese digital printing solutions provider Roland serves as Alpine’s Official Supplier of Print and Cut Equipments. In May 2022, both parties extended their partnership for a further three years that sees Roland continue to supply the French team with print and cut machines along with ink supplies.
Trak Racer
One of the leading manufacturers of racing simulators, Trak Racer signed a multi-year partnership with Alpine in May 2021. The partnership is aimed at enhancing performance and Trak Pacer provides the team with racing simulators.
Volume Graphics
Industrial CT analysis software company Volume Graphics inked a multi-year agreement with Renault in November 2019, joining the team as an Official Supplier.
The agreement sees the French team use Volume Graphics’ non-destructive testing tools to inspect 3D-printed automotive racing components. The French team also use the firm’s VGSTUDIO MAX to test parts for their cars with more efficiency and reliability.
