The chaos began with the team’s physio, Patrick Farhart, testing positive for COVID. It has come to light that another overseas player has been showing mild symptoms and has undergone a positive Rapid Antigen Test (RAT). The team masseur has also undergone a positive Antigen Test and will further take the RT-PCR test to confirm the results of the RAT.

The rest of the squad will be in quarantine as a precautionary measure and will undergo COVID tests, which have been scheduled for Monday and Tuesday prior to the game against the PBKS. However, the odds of the game getting rescheduled remain likely, given the fact that there could be a greater number of positive COVID cases and the lack of prep time ahead of the game.
However, it has come to light that the situation in the camp is manageable and there has not yet been any change made to the schedule.
